Yes I shall be leaving tomorrow for a very tough and already messed up assignment. With that, I shall be going for a very tough 2 hour discussion/interview on Tuesday. I am so much tensed about all this. Hope everything goes fine.  Pray for me guys!Your wishes are so much needed at this moment!

Some time back, I wrote about a song,Sohniye Heeriye by Shail. As I said in that post too, if you have loved ever listen to this song for sure, if not much than at least for once. I watched this song's video last night and today morning too. Its been since yesterday that I am listening this song nonstop. Don't ask why coz even I don't know ? Just know this that some how , just not able to stop listening it. Some times there is no reason for some thing and some times, any reason is not good enough. One of my friend said this some time back, kisse rabb wallon maare bande nu jarna soukha e per j koi aape marr jave ya jis nu aapni rooh de andar hi marna pave baddi peer hundi e. And its meaning in English is : If someone is taken away  by God , Somehow someway one is able to bear that pain. But if  some one kills you or gets killed or you have to kill some one from inside of you, Than the pain of that is unbearable. It kills you and also your soul. How true these

And its the day that is celebrated as Independence Day of India. Its been 60 years now and in these 60 years, India has done a lot of good work and is all set to do much more. I wish you all a very happy independence day where ever you are !

Sometimes , don't know why you feel so much helpless? Its a feeling that cant be described in any form of words, phrases or sentences. You really want some thing but you know this too that its not possible at this very moment. You really need some thing right at this moment but deep in the heart and right in front of you, you are watching or rather I should say, you are forced to watch that what you need so much right now, you wont get it at this very moment. May be some time later but not now. Believe me when I am saying this, its not a very good feeling.

Finally 11g is available for download for Linux now.  Also the documentation for 11g has got a fresh homepage  of its own. Cool! But there is just one problem , I don't have a machine to install Linux with the required system configuration so I have to wait till 11g's windows version will not come :-(. I was looking at a glance on 11g New Features guide  and came to know that now from 11g, BLOB columns are actually viewable from SQL*PLUS. Ahan! I guess its going to be interesting to see what's 11g has in store for us :-).

I went for hair cut today.  Me and my hair-dresser tried to have a new cut but or experiment didn't work so back to square, I got back with my usual style :-). I went to see my friend Aman (who have come from London ) in the hospital. Aman got operated just now for a very severe stomach ulcer. I sat with him for some time. I wasn't there when he came and got operated as I was traveling. He is recovering good but still he will be in hospital for some days( he has already spent almost a month there). I just wish and this is my pray to God that he gets well as soon as possible. Lets see what happens?

Yes I am back.  Its been a long time since I have posted anything.  Its not that I didn't have anything to post but it was coz of the busy schedule that I had this time and a continuous and a little bit hectic travel schedule which made it really tough to write anything some thing which I wanted to do so much though.  I got back yesterday morning.  This tour was a tough one as every assignment that I took up in this tour( total 4 of them) they were having one or the other challenges involved with them and which I was already aware of before to start.  But by the Grace of God and with the best wishes and blessings of my family,friends and you, I made it through.  Cant say that I made it a blockbuster success( I would never say like that whatsoever) but still I made every one leave happy and smiling and that means everything went well.  That's what I wanted to happen. So as like always, I was at the bus stand to catch my bus for Delhi.  But this time, a strange thing happened. 

Yes I shall be leaving tomorrow. I shall be taking up a very tough assignment as the participants are really going to be a tough nut to crack.  This is also the first time I am going to go for this also.  Lets see what happens? To spice up things a little bit more, I am not well too.  Pray for me guys that everything goes fine!Really need them!

WOW!No I didn't buy Vista :-). Today was the official launch of Oracle Database 11g  , the newest version of its flagship product, database. I did watch the official launch telecast of it. There are a lot of new features that were announced. Well my thoughts about 11g are some what mixed.  I didn't feel the earth shattered as it did when 10g came into the market. Oracle database 10g's arrival was like waiting for Harry Potter's new book.  All were so much excited as after a long association with "i", Oracle now was going to use "g" and some thing called Grid Technolgy.And I must say, there are tons of good things that have come with 10g.I completely agree that there are( and will be more coming )with 11g but still I felt, 11g's launch and its arrival was taken a bit lightly.  The concepts of 10g are used and enhanced in full swing in 11g. I went for an hair cut today in the morning. No there is nothing special about it :-). So when I was leaving from there, I saw one institute and I thought to go and have a sneak peak that whether it can help me in some things which I am looking floor.  I went to one floor up and than was sent back to the real place by a couple. Anyhow, I asked the lady on the reception about the details and she asked me to go to another cabin.  Wait alright lets see , I said to myself and I was there.  A lady came called Mona( manager over there) , very pleasant yet having a very impressive personality.  After formal introduction , I explained to her my purpose of visiting the place and also what I am looking for.  So she explained me all the points that she covers in her program and also discussed about what I may need and how would I get that?Well it was a long chat.  I really took a lot of time of hers and I must say that she never said a word even. We discussed a lot of things and I must say that

I am sure you must be thinking so much that how Aman is posting so much when he is traveling ;-). Well I was supposed to travel from yesterday but my this week tour got canceled and now my next tour will start from this Sunday. So that's why you are hearing so much from me :-).

I am blogging from some time now on my Blogger blog  and on my WordPress blog.  I always wanted to have a website of my own so I made my website on Tripod(free)   and also using APEX technology . I yet have to have a full fledge website of my own, I mean which will be run by me and will also be hosted by me but that too will happen very soon. For any site, how its accessed and what are the search statistics for it by Google  and Yahoo  search robots. I was just reading Tim sir's blog  where in one post he has mentioned that Andy C  has posted about   Google Webmasters and Yahoo SiteExplorer . I never knew about these two tools so I thought to see whether my sites and blogs are indexed or not? Gladly they are and now the next task for me is to authenticate my blogs and sites with them which is a matter of concern as only Blogger allows to have a template which can be modified and so is Tripod whose site HTML can be modified.WordPress cant be modified as I am a free user and APEX

Yup I got back just now in the morning at about 9am. The whole trip was okay, in fact I got some really good comments from the participants and also I came to know that some of my old students referred my name with pride to others.  Its a big thing for a person like me who doesn't know much.  I really appreciate the trust my students displayed on me and the respect they gave to me.  I definitely learnt some new things, one about ASM and the other about a recovery of the loss of all the redo log files.  That was a really nice thing to learn. Only one thing was a little upsetting and weird too. When I was leaving from home and caught my bus to Delhi, there was a family in the bus with 2 ladies and 1 gents and some kids.  That guy who was along with those ladies left them in the bus and went some where. Coz of this, bus had to wait for almost 30 minutes.  I was really upset, amazed at the same time seeing all this happening.  Those ladies were creating a scene over there that we wil

Yes I came back today but I shall be leaving again tomorrow.  Yup I came back for one day only.  Last tour was okay( I hope so).I got some really good comments from the participants so for me that's the assurance that everything went okay.  Rest everything was normal except there was ( and now this situation has become worse.) so much rain back there in Mumbai.I was lucky enough to come out yesterday and no delay was issued for my flight.  But from today onwards almost all the flights are now getting either delayed or worse,yup canceled. Now tomorrow I shall be leaving.  This would be for a client side and its been a while I have taken that module so I am a little shaky.  I hope and wish everything goes fine.  Pray for me guys! And about the moment of achievement, today I have received an award of appreciation from my manager. According to him, I have done good work.  I am thankful and happy about receiving but if you ask me to open my heart, I didn't do anything exceptional

Yes I shall be leaving tomorrow.  Once again, there are some of the toughest modules ahead.  I shall be (hopefully) coming back on weekends and will be leaving on Sundays.  But that's something which is not so important.  The modules that are going to come in front of me are very tough ones and I really am feeling so much nervous.  Pray for me guys that everything goes well and absolutely fine!

I have cleared my 10g DBA certification today.  It was long due and was one of the biggest burdens on my head. I have cleared it with a decent score.  Definitely it still doesn't mean that I know Oracle 10g inside out as there is ( and always will be) so much yet to learn but now I am feeling a bit relieved

I couldn't write about the wedding that happened of my friend Puja.Its just that I am a little struck up in some thing which is not leaving me any room for the updation of any events.  Well the wedding went really fine.  It was all very well planned and done and the entire credit for that goes to Kavita who despite being injured did everything and managed everything so well.  I am happy as I was able to attend this wedding coz I would be leaving on this Sunday for a long tour which will leave me coming and going, so it was good that I was able to attend it and was a part of it.  Once again, my heartiest congratulations to Puja and Ashish.

Last night , I went to my friend Puja's home. Her wedding is today and it was a pre-wedding dance and music function. Its a love marriage which is going to happen. I had seen what and how all this has come up to these happy moments and I really wish that Puja and Aashish would be forever happy and smiling. Function went great.  There was so much of dancing and music everywhere.  Did I dance?Well if you have asked this that means you don't know that I believe some one must be in the audience too and that's exactly where I am always.  Wedding will be in the day time hmm after about 2 hours it will start.  Its raining too today.  Lets hope it wont spoil the celebrations.  Did I say "spoil the celebrations"?Just remembering some thing synch with these words.  Anyway time for me to get ready and than leave.  Excuse me,I have a wedding to attend :-).
